Ahh, the life of a university student. Living in a knee-deep pile of filth, subsisting on a diet of mi goreng and brandless cola because it's all you can afford. Have you ever felt guilty for having free time?

If you guys liked Ill Fate: Ep. 1 then you're in for a real treat, because episode two craps all over it. Hopefully I will be able to complete the whole animation to the standard I've done the initial shots to, because they are easily my best work yet, but ultimately it all comes down to time restraints. This animation needs to be completed by November 5th. I'm not sure, however, if I will submit it here on NewGrounds on the same date - you guys may be getting a "cleaned up" version if my initial submission is rough or rushed in some areas. But so far, I have exceeded myself, and so has my trusty sound man, Doyvid. It's going to be great.
For the first round, I have been paired up against Guzu, who along with myself, is the only other animator in the tournament. Interestingly enough, his character is the Collossus - a sixty-foot high stone giant controlled by three dead wizards who rest inside graves atop the head. For the very first round, I've been propped up against one of the most terrifying opponents in the tournament, but I've taken this as a challenge and Kaiser Fate takes no prisoners when it comes to taking it down.
Incidentally, as the Collossus was quite obviously inspired by Shadow Of The Collossus, I borrowed the game off my housemate and beat it over two nights for inspiration. But don't worry, it's not going to be a total rip-fest. XD

On a more perplexed note, I'd like to point out that there were some really weird complaints with the first Ill Fate.
Complaints like "it looked rushed because you used too many basic tweens" or "I couldn't hear what Hatticus was saying because the machine was too loud" are valid complaints that I have taken into consideration for this episode. If you have critique, by all means, give it as I want to improve.

"It was a bit short" is not a valid complaint. These are short because I have a very short period of time to make them in. This isn't just some series I'm making completely out of my own head, it's for an Original Character Tournament on deviantArt, which means that every three weeks I get paired up against a randomly selected opponent and have to come up with everything from scratch, that is, story, backgrounds, voice acting, and our ghastly friend, Animation. I need a few days to pass it over to Doyvid to do the sound, so I don't care if these are "too short". It's quality over quantity, guys, I would rather have a two and a half minute showcase of my best animation and illustration abilities than a rushed, long-ass, ten minute bullshit-fest.
"It didn't really do it for me" is not a valid complaint. You need to tell me why. That's why it's called a review. "I didn't like it because it had a slow pace and the editing was choppy and there was too much dialogue which slowed it down" makes sense to me. "I didn't like it" doesn't. I'm going to be posting these animations whether you like it or not, so do us BOTH a favour and let me know how I can improve.

Of course, this doesn't apply to all of you. A select few gave me very indepth reviews for Episode One which have not gone unappreciated. I love it when I come across a sensible and honest review. Make yours one of them. :)

Ill Fate: Ep. 2 is looking better than ever
